Spring Art Classes being offered once a Month!   

Gloria Seitz is offering once a month Saturday Classes at

Heartland Art Center

Gloria Seitz, a certified K-12 art teacher, has had to discontinue her seven week art classes because of health issues. But she does want to continue to teach on a part time basis. Classes will be offered once a month on a Saturday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to Noon at Heartland Art Center, 214 N Michigan Ave. Plymouth, IN. (574-936-9515) Students can be registered and paid for by calling Heartland Art Center.

Here are the classes for March, April, and May:

• Interruption of Line Design: Saturday, March 22, 10:30 a.m.-noon, 3rd through 7th grades, Cost: $20 and $15 for additional siblings. Students will learn about the importance of line and shape in art as they make a detailed design. 
• Cartooning Basics: Saturday, April 26, 10:30 a.m.-noon, 1st grade through adult, Cost: $20 and $15 for additional siblings. Students will learn cartooning techniques including experssions, heads and bodies.
• Impressionistic Chalk on Cloth: Saturday, May 10, 10:30 a.m.-noon, 3rd through 12th grades, Cost: $20 and $15 for additional siblings. Students will create a beautiful pastel drawing on black cloth inspired by and impressionist painting. 

Don’t forget about checking out Gloria’s Online Courses which are recorded videos of what she offered in person. Each unit includes a seven week unit which is equivalent to one semester of art classes. The classes are purchased for a one year use and detailed materials shopping list as well as handouts are available with purchase.
